although monsters are hella scary in today’s movies (partly because of the tension created by sound etc and partly because of visual effects), typical main character is much more admirable in oldschool horror novels! I couldn’t help but draw some more of the Curious Gentleman:
too bad he usually gets hurt because of his confidence in reason and refusal to listen to superstitious townspeople

Lmao, awesome cartoons. Not sure if you’ve ever seen or heard of Regular Show, but I imagine your curious gentleman speaking like Pops, a character with a huge head and old fashioned manners.
